Our Client Stories
PCR’s clients are at the epicenter of its work. Since 1977 thousands of Southern California small businesses have been served, and PCR’s success is predicated on the success of its clients.
“PCR felt much more in touch than large lenders, I felt like they not only understood my business, but took the time to understood me and my vision.”
Kasey Phillips is a first generation immigrant of Trinidad and Tobago who has steadily built his name in the music industry.
He owns and operates Crystal Room Studio, a state-of-art facility, that offers high end equipment and world class sound engineers backed by over 20 years experience.
“PCR makes you feel like you have an entire team. They really want your business to succeed.”
Brittie Crawford is Owner and Director of World City Center Preschool, but her main role is Mom. In 2008 Brittie was looking for childcare and a new role that would allow her child the opportunity to play, develop social skills, and be at one with nature and the outdoors. She couldn’t find what she was looking for locally and didn’t want to drive outside of her neighborhood for childcare. Her solution was to open a childcare business out of her home, hence creating a job for herself at the same time.
“Their [PCR SBDC] guidance provided me with the confidence I needed to keep going despite my prior failures, and game the strategic actions I needed to turn my business around.”
Michele Moreno’s decision to open a business was motivated by her desire to help others speak with greater connection, influence and executive presence. She saw an opportunity to provide valuable coaching, group training and inspiring talks to those in need, and seized it in April 2016.
Michele provides award-winning communication coaching and training programs to help business leaders become more influential and trustworthy when they speak.
